Make an operational problem legible
Map how information, responsibility and decisions actually move — across files, systems, teams and individual memory — and where the work breaks down.
Advisory
Alongside the products, Mathias Thomasson takes a small number of advisory engagements — applying the same approach directly to a problem inside your organisation.
The work is the same as it is behind MinaAvtal and Aura: take operational work that is held together by documents, spreadsheets, inboxes and individual memory, and turn it into something people can see, decide on and follow through — with clear ownership and honest treatment of uncertainty.
Background
Mathias has worked in IT since 1998. At DHL Sweden he led the country’s IT operations and the relocation of the Swedish IT centre to Prague — a full service transition with accountability, documentation and risk management while daily operations continued. As a consultant he was then responsible for every IT-related restaurant project for McDonald’s across the four Nordic countries, coordinating construction, operations, networks and installation against fixed opening dates. He works today as a Nordic Service Delivery Manager, and has led change and interim IT assignments in retail and services. Methods: ITIL, Lean, PM3 and Prince2.
What I help with
Map how information, responsibility and decisions actually move — across files, systems, teams and individual memory — and where the work breaks down.
Plan an implementation or a service transition so that dependencies, owners and a working end state are clear, and delivery is followed through to go-live rather than left at launch.
Move from service levels and supplier agreements to concrete operational follow-up: what needs to happen, who owns it, and how it is reviewed.
Decide where AI genuinely helps a document-heavy or repetitive task, and where it should stay a reviewable draft rather than an unaccountable authority.
How an engagement works
Each step is designed to stand on its own. You should get value from the discovery and read-out whether or not you continue.
Who it is for
Advisory work suits teams that have an important, recurring problem, cannot easily see who owns the next action, and want a clearer system rather than another large platform. It is not a fit for staffing a long project or for problems that need a dedicated in-house function.
Tell us what is happening and what a good outcome would look like. We will reply with whether an advisory engagement is a sensible fit.
